By accessing or using dPDF, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any provision of these terms, you must discontinue use of dPDF immediately.

Nature of the Service

dPDF provides browser-based PDF conversion, extraction, merging, and splitting tools. All document processing occurs locally within your browser through client-side JavaScript. dPDF is a convenience tool offered free of charge and is provided strictly on an “as is”, “where is”, and “as available” basis, with all faults, defects, errors, and limitations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

dPDF disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. dPDF makes no warranty or representation regarding accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, timeliness, security, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose. dPDF makes no warranty that the service will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. dPDF makes no warranty regarding the quality, correctness, or fidelity of any converted, merged, split, or extracted document output.

You assume all risk arising from your use of dPDF and from any reliance on dPDF output.

Prohibited Use in Critical Applications

dPDF is a convenience tool and is expressly unsuitable for mission-critical, safety-critical, life-sustaining, legal-evidentiary, regulatory-compliance, financial-transaction, or high-stakes applications of any kind. You agree to independently verify all dPDF output before relying on any converted, merged, split, or extracted document for any consequential purpose. You bear sole responsibility for determining whether dPDF output meets your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, dPDF, the operators of dpdf.net, and all affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall bear zero liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or any other intangible loss, arising from or related to your access to or use of dPDF, your inability to access or use dPDF, any output generated by dPDF, any errors or omissions in dPDF output, or any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data, regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and regardless of whether dPDF has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In jurisdictions that do not permit full exclusion of liability, the total cumulative liability of dPDF shall not exceed one euro (€1.00).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless dPDF, the operators of dpdf.net, and all affiliated entities, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your use of dPDF, your reliance on dPDF output, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Intellectual Property

All dPDF branding, design, code, visual assets, and textual content remain the exclusive property of the operators of dpdf.net. You may use dPDF for personal and professional document processing purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the dPDF application, source code, or visual assets without express written permission.

Third-Party Libraries and Resources

dPDF integrates open-source JavaScript libraries, CSS frameworks, and may load resources from external content delivery networks. Such third-party components are subject to their own respective licenses, terms, and conditions. dPDF assumes no responsibility for the functionality, accuracy, availability, or security of any third-party resource.

Service Availability and Modification

dPDF reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability of any kind. dPDF reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of dPDF following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Your Documents and Your Responsibility

dPDF processes documents locally within your browser. You retain full ownership and full responsibility for all files you process through dPDF. You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of your original files. You are solely responsible for verifying the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all dPDF output before any use or distribution.

Translations

In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity, or conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English language version shall prevail and govern in all cases.
