Document Processing
At Direct PDF (dPDF), all PDF conversion, extraction, merging, and splitting operations are done entirely within your browser through client-side JavaScript. Your files load into your browser's local memory, undergo processing on your device's processor, and download directly back to your device. The dPDF server delivers only the web application code and plays zero role in handling, receiving, or storing your documents. Your files, your file names, and your file contents remain exclusively on your device. We respect your privacy, your intellectual properties and copyrights.
Data Collection, Cookies, and Tracking
dPDF collects zero personal data. dPDF places zero cookies on your device. dPDF runs zero analytics scripts, tracking pixels, advertising tags, or fingerprinting mechanisms. dPDF requires zero registration and maintains zero user accounts. The sole use of browser localStorage is to remember your preferred color theme between light and dark mode, and localStorage data resides entirely on your device. You do not need to create an account to use dPDF; there are no accounts required.
Internet Infrastructure and Server Logs
Your connection to dpdf.net travels through standard internet infrastructure. Your internet service provider, DNS resolver, network administrators, and hosting infrastructure may observe that your device connected to dpdf.net, as part of routine operations that apply universally to every website visit. The dPDF web server may generate standard access logs containing connection-level metadata such as IP addresses, request timestamps, requested URLs, and browser user-agent strings. Server access logs contain zero document data and zero information about what you convert, merge, split, or extract through dPDF.
Third-Party Resources
dPDF integrates open-source JavaScript libraries, CSS frameworks, and may load image assets from external content delivery networks. Such external services operate under their own respective privacy policies and data handling practices, which dPDF does not control. When your browser retrieves resources from external providers, those providers may collect connection-level data according to their own published policies.
